A researcher and academic with a background in pharmacy, holding a master's degree in Feminist Studies and Development, specializing in gender, and a Ph.D. in Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Care (Public Health).
Currently, she works as a gender consultant and lecturer in reproductive health at the Women's Center for Research and Training at the University of Aden, where she focuses on integrating gender perspectives into health initiatives. Dalia is a member of the advisory board of the Yemeni Observatory for Human Rights (YOHR) and actively participates in the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) and the Yemeni Association for Women in Science and Technology.
Additionally, she serves as a postdoctoral researcher at (IRIA) Institut of Research in International Assistance at Akkon University of Human Sciences in Berlin, Germany. Dalia has published several scientific papers in high-impact journals, contributing significantly to the fields of gender and health.

A civil engineer and humanitarian professional with over four years of experience spanning the academic and humanitarian sectors.
In academia, Khadiga began her career immediately after earning her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, graduating as the top-ranked student in 2018. She served as a teaching assistant at the University of Aden and Ibn Khaldoon University, where she taught undergraduate courses in civil engineering.
In the humanitarian sector, Khadiga has worked with various local and international organizations, taking on roles in monitoring and evaluation, logistics, and program management. Recently, she has focused on WASH and Shelter projects with a UN agency, as well as capacity building for partner organizations.
Currently, Khadiga is a Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship recipient and is in her final semester pursuing an MSc in Infrastructure Engineering in Hungary. She is actively engaged in research, having participated in several academic conferences. In addition, she is an active member of the Yemeni Students Union in Hungary, where she contributes to community and student initiatives.
Khadiga Al-Nagar
A Program Manager at Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in Yemen, leading initiatives in education, livelihoods, and climate resilience. He holds a Master’s in Education and Development from the University of East Anglia, UK, and has over seven years of experience in project management, policy research, and system strengthening in conflict-affected areas.
At CRS, Malek oversees a diverse range of projects, including emergency education and early childhood programs, while building strong partnerships with local ministries, NGOs, and community organizations. His leadership has been crucial in expanding CRS's reach and supporting internally displaced people (IDPs), with a focus on integrating climate resilience and gender-sensitive strategies into program designs.
Previously, Malek worked as the Education Program Coordinator with Save the Children International, collaborating with the Ministry of Education to improve access to education and strengthen institutional capacity. He also served as the Education Manager for the DAFI program at INTERSOS NGO, helping refugee youth pursue tertiary education and gain employability skills.
His research focuses on the intersection of education and violent conflict, education policy, and leadership in education. In 2016, Malek initiated a pioneering project to support children with upper limb amputations by creating 3D-printed prosthetics, exemplifying his commitment to innovative, community-driven solutions.

His expertise revolves around planning & implementing real-time machine learning solutions to developing LLM chatbots and predictive systems, with a strong foundation in project management leading AI initiatives.
Since 2016, Manaf has taken part in the development of various AI solutions for many clients in Malaysia before co-founding a startup to deliver more solutions to Australia and Gulf countries. In 2021, he received DAAD award to pursue Masters in AI & data science in Germany, followed by an internship at Volkswagen, where he contributed to the automation & visualization of their Advanced Driver Assistance Systems ADAS.
Manaf holds a double Master's degree in AI & data science from TH Deggendorf (Germany) and University South Bohemia in Czech Republic. Adding to that an MBA in project management. Currently, he is settled in Germany and working as an AI consultant.

Throughout his career, Nadeem has led comprehensive evaluation projects in Yemen, assessing multiple sectors and providing actionable recommendations for performance improvement. He has also collaborated with several international organizations, notably the World Bank, to develop and enhance specific government sectors.
With extensive experience in capacity building, Nadeem helps organizations design efficient structural frameworks and administrative systems to meet their goals. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and possesses internationally recognized quality certifications that bolster his consulting expertise.
Currently, Nadeem continues to offer consulting and training services in management development and quality. He specializes in ISO standards compliance, guiding organizations in obtaining essential certifications and implementing continuous improvement methodologies, including American Six Sigma and Japanese Kaizen, to drive sustainable performance enhancements.
Nadeem Alsayed


Holds an MSc in Public Health from the Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam, where he focused on health system policy and management, as well as a BSc in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Aden University.
War broke out in Yemen a few months before he graduated from medical school. As a doctor, he faced many challenges in practicing medicine in health facilities affected by the conflict. As a consequence, he spent the following five years working in the health sector, supporting programs with several INGOs, and two of those years as a project manager. And there he found his passion for specializing in public health and health management.
His research interests lie in health management, health system strengthening, and policy, as well as the fact that as a public health practitioner, community health concerns and diseases are his priorities.
Odai Al-Qadhi


A dedicated researcher focusing on the political economy of development in post-conflict contexts, with a particular emphasis on Yemen. She has assessed the implementation of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) designed to evaluate development interventions in conflict-affected and fragile settings. Her work significantly contributes to the development of evidence-based approaches tailored to the specific challenges of post-conflict settings.
Rania served as a Project Assistant in the Department of International Development at The Swedish Association of the Visually Impaired Centre, based in Stockholm. In this role, she contributed to several projects in Africa and South America aimed at empowering disabled individuals socially and economically.
Currently, Rania works as a Student Academic Support at Linnaeus University.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from multiple institutions, including the University of Gothenburg, Linnaeus University, and the University of Wolverhampton, where she studied Peace and Development, International Relations, and Sociology. Additionally, she pursued an MSc at the Department of Economics at SOAS University of London, where her studies laid the foundation for developing a PhD research project.
